B. FREE FROM THE LAW THROUGH UNION WITH CHRIST
1. We died to the law “through the body of Christ”
2. We belong to another, “to Him who was raised from the dead”
C. FREE FROM THE LAW TO SERVE CHRIST
1. Purpose: that we might bear fruit for God [4]
that we serve in the new way of the Spirit [6]
2. Conclusion
the law is powerless to save us
the law is powerless to sanctify us
