5. Did Jesus die to save us from our sins? Yes No

A. WHAT DOES SIN HAVE TO DO WITH ME?

1. All have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory [1.18 - 3.20]

2. But my sin problem has been solved

a. Jesus died for me [3.20 - 26]

b. I am right with God through faith alone [4.]

c. I am forgiven [4.7 - 8]

d. I am right with God [5.1]

e. I know God loves me [5.5, 8]

B. ARE WE TO CONTINUE IN SIN?

1. A good question to ask

2. A bad way to think

C. WHY NOT?

1. Sin’s penalty?

4. We have DIED to the REIGN and RULE of sin

5.21 sin reigned in death

6.6 no longer slaves to sin

6.11 consider yourselves to be dead to sin
