The problem of praying in the dark 2

A. THE DARKNESS

1. A long time in the dark [2-3]

Be still my soul, Thy God doth undertake
To guide the future as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious will be bright at last

2. Darkness that can be felt [4-20]

This is my Father’s world.
O let me ne’er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong,
God is the ruler yet.

3. Unsettled by the darkness [1]

B. THE LIGHT

1. The call to live by faith [4]

2. The promise of glory [14]

3. The grace of humility [20]
