No Easy Answers: The Problem of Praying with Your Eyes Open

You close your eyes and think about who God is.
You open your eyes and see what the world is like.

How do you reconcile the truth with reality?

1. STOP AND THINK

a. Panic!

b. Stop and start thinking again

2. GO BACK TO SQUARE ONE

a. Faith challenged

b. Faith in God

3. BUILD UPON SQUARE ONE

a. The Eternal God

b. The Holy One of Israel

c. The Sovereign Lord of all

d. The God of goodness and life

4. COMMIT THE PROBLEM TO GOD IN FAITH

Behold, as for the proud one, His soul is not right within him;
But the righteous will live by his faith. [2.4]
