The gift of righteousness freely given to all of God’s people.
Why would God do this? Grace
How does God do this? Through faith alone
How can God do this? Because of Christ and His cross
What is God doing for us through the cross?

2. God’s work of redeeming His people
B. GOD SATISFIES HIS OWN DEMANDS
1. Propitiation: a sacrifice of atonement
2. God’s work to satisfy His own demands
C. GOD DEMONSTRATES HIS JUSTICE
1. Demonstration
2. God’s work to show that He is doing the right thing
