Romans 12.1-2 Give Yourself to God
What does God really want from ME in terms of
living the Christian life?
Do I need to purse full time Christian
service?
Do I need to accept Jesus as Lord as well
as Savior?
Do I need to join a church and come every
Sunday?
A. GIVE YOURSELF TO GOD
1. Decisively: something I do once and for
all
2. Deliberately: something that is not
automatic
3. Daily: something that I need to always be
involved in
4. Delightfully: something that I will enjoy
doing
B. GIVE ALL THAT YOU ARE TO GOD
1. Body: present your bodies [Rom 6.12-13]
2. Will: I appeal to you
3. Emotions: by the mercies of God
4. Mind: the renewal of your mind [Phil 2.5]
5. Spirit: your spiritual worship [Rom
5.1-2, 5; 8.14, 16, 26-27]
