1 Corinthians 15.29-34 Resurrection Behavior
What you believe affects how you behave.
A. Why are THEY being baptized for the dead?
1. No one knows what this verse means!
2. But we know how Paul’s argument works…
if there is no resurrection
their belief and their behavior don’t match up
B. Why are WE putting up with all that we do?
1. Paul put up with a lot [2 Cor 11.23-29]
2. Fighting with wild beasts
3. Paul’s belief about the resurrection affects his behavior here and now
C. What are YOU now to do ?
1. Don’t be fooled!
This life is not all there is; its not even the best part!
2. Wake up!
The surrounding culture has a chilling effect; don’t let it lull you to sleep.
3. Stop sinning!
Bad behavior in a Christian is caused by not taking the resurrection seriously.
