Revelation 14.1-5 Standing With the Lamb

There is a war going on [Rev 12]
How the war is being waged against the saints [Rev 13]
How the war will turn out [Rev 14]

1. We have God’s Name written on our foreheads [1]

a. The Lamb is standing

b. Together we are standing on Mt Zion

c. We stand with the Lamb because we belong to Him

1) We know that we belong to Him [Rev 7.2-4; Eph 1.13-14]
2) Others know that we belong to Him
3) We know that we will always belong to Him

2. We have God’s voice in our ears [2]

a. Many voices demand our attention

b. God’s voice fills our ears

1) A powerful voice: many waters
2) An unmistakable voice: loud thunder
3) An inspiring voice: harpists playing

3. We have a new song on our lips [3]

a. We sing because we have something to sing about [Rev 5.9-10]

b. We sing a new song [Psa 40.1-3]

4. We follow the Lamb with our feet [4-5a]

a. We FOLLOW the Lamb: doers of the Word

b. We follow the Lamb WHEREVER He goes

c. We follow THE LAMB

5. We are blameless [5b]

a. God’s eternal purpose for us [Eph 1.4]

b. The reason Jesus died for us [Col 1.22]

c. The promise of God for us [Jude 24-25]
