Rev 1 Jesus Christ is risen

Rev 4-5 An open door to heaven

A. THE WORD OF GOD [10]

1. God is the author

2. It is open for all to read

3. Not everything that we might want to know is revealed

4. We’re to take an active part in the Word

5. The Word can please and disturb

B. THE TWO WITNESSES OF GOD [11]

1. God is the author

2. There is a message

3. It is a true message

4. A message of repentance

5. A call to faith

6. A message that disturbs

7. A message that God will vindicate

C. QUESTIONS FOR APPLICATION

1. Do I have a plan for growing in my knowledge of God’s Word?

2. Do I have a plan for sharing God’s Word with others?

3. Am I prepared to suffer rejection and ridicule on account of God’s Word?

4. Am I prepared for that last day when all will be called to give an account?
