That the Generation to Come Might Know Celebration Event
That the Generation to Come Might Know Celebration Event to be Held at St. James Episcopal Church
“One of the outstanding events in the life of our church” is the way to describe the stewardship Celebration Event on February 16, which we call the Celebration Dinner. We are expecting a very large attendance. The St. James Episcopal Church Ministry Center at 1872 Camp Road across from Bishop Gadsden on James Island has been re served for this occasion. This period of fellowship promises to be one of the high moments of your life as well as a great event in the life of our church.
This Celebration Dinner will be the inspirational climax of our That the Generation to Come Might Know campaign, and every household will be invited.
Youth 7th grade and over will be invited to the Celebration Dinner. Infants through 6th grade will be invited to the Children’s Party at the St. James Episcopal Church Teen Center. There will be no charge for the meal. This advance notice wil give our members several weeks to make arrangements to attend. Every household is urged to mark their calendars now and change any previous plans so as to make it possible to attend.
Members of the Hospitality Team will be calling every church household in the days ahead to confirm reservations for the Celebration Dinner and Children’s Party, and to make sure they understand the arrangements.
The Celebration Dinner has been described as “an event worth canceling all previous engagements to attend!”
