Hebrews 11.2 YES!
By [faith] the men of old gained approval.
How do we gain God’s approval?
Not EARN God’s approval !
But hear God’s YES in our life ?
A. BY ENDURING
1. Everybody faces some kind of trouble & trial in life
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.
2. God calls us to endure [10.36]
B. BY BELIEVING GOD
1. By faith…by faith…by faith… [18 verses!]
2. Faith is what sets us apart from others [10.39]
3. Faith is a gift of God, but a gift that we’re to work with [12.2; 10.38]
C. BY OBEYING GOD
