Hebrews 4.13 The Eyes Of God
The Word of God is God’s gift of grace to enable us to always walk
with Jesus Christ [Heb 3.12].
The Eyes of God are another gift of God’s grace to enable us to hold
fast our confession.
A. THESE EYES ARE THE EYES OF GOD
1. The God who made us [Psalm 100]
2. The God who does whatever He wants [Psalm 115]
3. The God who sustains us day by day [Acts 17.28]
B. THESE EYES OF GOD SEE EVERYTHING
1. All creatures
2. All people
3. Everything about them
4. Omniscience
a. God knows everything
b. God has always known everything
c. God knows everything that has ever happened
d. God knows everything that will happen
C. THESE EYES THAT SEE EVERYTHING ARE THE EYES OF A HOLY GOD
1. Our God is a consuming fire [Heb 12.29]
2. Our Holy God sees everything about us
D. THESE EYES THAT SEE EVERYTHING ARE THE EYES OF A GOD WHO LOVES US
1. God loves us and wants to help us
a. He has already given us His Son [Heb 4.14-15]
b. He invites us to come to His throne of grace [Heb 4.16]
2. God sees everything about us and STILL loves us
3. God sees what WILL happen to us and STILL loves us
