Please join us in prayer everyday that God will call individuals and couples from our church to go on the missions trip to Bulgaria with Metro North church. God has arranged for our church to be invited to participate in what He is doing in Bulgaria. We need to respond.
One of the types of people that we as a committee believe should consider going on mission trips, who may not normally think about it, are those who are retired. Because of their situation in life of not being tied down to raising a family, they have a unique opportunity to regularly get involved in what God is doing through mission trips. Do not think that you are too old. You don’t have to have the gift of speaking in front of crowds. Just a willingness to help out wherever needed and a desire to meet new people from other cultures. God will do the rest. Pray about it.
For anyone considering this trip, DO NOT let money hold you back. You will just write a short letter telling what your plans are and request support. Send it to everyone you know. Pray. God, will again do the rest. If He really wants you to go, the money will come in.
